5. Complete the Whole Living Challenge.
Last year, Dusty at All Things G&D introduced me to the Whole Living Challenge. She invited her readers to join her, and I really wanted to, but seeing that I was in my first trimester of pregnancy, I didn’t think it was the right time. I’ve been waiting all year for her to do it again so I could follow along, and it’s finally here.
For those that don’t know, the Whole Living Challenge is a 21 day, whole body detox. In Week 1, the only foods allowed are lentils, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, oils, and seasoning. In Week 2, you can begin to add fish and gluten free grains, while Week 3 includes eggs.
I have three reasons for participating.
1. I like a challenge.
2. My eating went off-roading during the holidays, and a month later, has yet to get back on track.
3. I have 5 pounds of my baby weight left to lose.
Week 1 begins tomorrow. I will share my meal plan at the beginning of each week and a recap at the end. I am hitting up the grocery store this afternoon so I will be back later with my Week 1 outline.
